Teammates Jazmine Fenlator-Victorian and Carrie Russell had a tough time making it to the games after losing their coach, sponsors, and sled shortly before the competition. However, with some help from the Jamaican beer company Red Stripe, the team was able to secure a sled and make it to the Olympics.

The duo even named their sled "Mr. Cool Bolt" after Olympic medalist Usain Bolt and the 1993 Disney film Cool Runnings, which was inspired by the men's team at the 1988 Winter Olympics.
“A lot of people know of bobsleigh because of the movie Cool Runningsand Jamaica making that launch in 1988 and really pushing bobsleigh with their popularity,” Fenlator-Victorian told Reuters.
"But we’re also humbled and honored to be compared to those men that started and fought so hard to represent Jamaica," she said.
