The ????? ????? ??????7-year-old girl who has been tweeting from a war zone in Aleppo, Syria is now able to escape into the magical world of Harry Potter, thanks to a gift from the author herself.

"My friend, Joanne, how are you? I started reading the books. Thank you very much. I love you," Alabed said in a video, showing the cover of the Philosopher's Stone on a phone.

The exchange originated back when Bana's mother tweeted that her family had watched a Harry Potter movie and wanted to read the books. Rowling couldn't send a package into the war zone, but she managed to send copies of Ebooks.

Still, the bloodshed continues in Syria. Following the exchange between Rowling and Bana, the girl tweeted a bloody photo of one of her friends, a boy, who was killed by a bomb that night, according to Bana.
