In tangible cookies, of course.
MSCHF's latest drop Cooooookies is a game to acquire as many web cookies as possible. These cookies are stored on your computer when you use a web browser. They're useful in some respects, like keeping site logins, but they're also used to track your activity.
Because of this, privacy law dictates that websites have to ask permission to use cookies. As Cooooookies's FAQ explains, "Every website acts like a drug pusher who got into baking: want cookies, buddy? Got some cookies for you!"
MSCHF, however, will use cookies to one person's advantage. Its Chrome plugin keeps track of how many browser cookies you've accepted. From now until May 3 at 1 p.m. ET, race to accept as many cookies as you can — it won't be hard to find websites that ask.
SEE ALSO: Buy yourself a Heaven's Gate or Pirate's Bay email address from MSCHFWhomever has the most web cookies once the game ends will receive a 100 pound box of real cookies from MSCHF.
The Cooooookies's website explains that some sites track cookies differently. Site revisits and reloads, for example, can inflate your personal score, but won't show up on the leaderboard.
If you're willing to give up some of your precious internet privacy for the chance at 100 pounds of sugar and flour, Cooooookies is the game for you.
