SEE ALSO: A ridiculous live blog for a ridiculous electionBut Adelstein was determined to cast her vote. So, on her way to the hospital, she casually stopped by the county clerk's office to drop off her ballot so she wouldn't miss the opportunity to vote.
According to the Boulder Daily Camera, she and her partner, Max Brandel, both voted for Hillary Clinton.
"It's really important for us to bring our girl into a world we are proud of," Brandel said.
Bella Rose was born on Saturday.
