Packard Bell will be ?????? ???? ?????the official partner for the 2007 Electronics Sports World Cup.
A few days ago, the total prize money was still unannounced for the 2007 ESWC Finals. However, with Packard Bellstepping in we can now be sure it will not be dissapointing when it is announced later this week.
Some may have noticed that this year's ESWC logo differs as there is NVIDIAis no longer part of it. As a result of the lead sponsor pulling out, the ESWC needed a new one and Packard Bell are them! Here is the official press release:
Games-Services and Packard Bell have joined forces in creating an unprecedented digital playground in which 750 international gaming champions are expected to show up in Paris from the 5th to the 8th of July for the Electronic Sports World Cup Grand Final (Paris - Exhibition Centre of La Porte de Versailles / Hall 5).
Approximately 350 Packard Bell computers - specifically designed for the event - including the now famous “iPower” with its Watercooling system, an Intel? Quad Core 6600 processor and its NVIDIA? GeForce? 8800 GTS video card will fill the different gaming areas throughout the 12000 sqm of Hall 5.
All this to ensure optimal gaming conditions for the contenders representing 51 countries who will be showing-off their talents and competing for the different titles of World Champion.
Packard Bell will also be supplying the computers found in the Public Access Gaming Areas and the Press Room.
