Fine art is ????? ?????? ?????often an investment, but there are some affordable options out there. For example, a $15 donation to the Wisconsin Humane Society will get you a custom drawing of your pet.
There's a catch, though: The drawing won't necessarily be good. It's part of an extremely wholesome fundraiser, though, so you have no room to complain.
"We have a pool of staff and volunteers standing by, eager to turn your animal into a timeless work of art (or at least make you laugh)," reads a Facebook post from the organization. "You *might* get one of our extremely talented artists, but we’ll be honest… you’ll probably get someone who can’t draw their way out of a paper bag."
The post included a few examples, which honestly aren't as bad as we expected. They're adorable, actually, in the same way an outfit a five-year-old chose for herself is adorable. Plus, all pets are perfect, so it stands to reason that all drawings of them would be perfect too.
If you're interested in a drawing of your pet, you still have time to donate, though demand is so high that the work may be delayed by a day or two. At the time of writing, over 300 people had donated at least $15 (some a lot more), raising over $8,000 for the organization.
