To try these features, though, you'll have to install the iPadOS 18 public beta.
Keep in mind that iPadOS 18 is still a bit rough around the edges. To protect your device, I highly suggest backing up your iPad. If you have an extra iPad lying around that supports iPadOS 18, I recommend you use that instead of running the public beta on your daily driver iPad.

Go to Settings.

Tap on Beta Updatesfollowed byiPadOS 18 public beta.
Hit the back button (on the top left) to head back to the Software Updatepage.
Tap on Update Now.
Installing iPadOs 18 on a 13-inch iPad Pro Credit: Kimberly Gedeon / Mashable You may be prompted to type in your passcode. A progress bar will appear, getting your iPad ready to install iPadOS 18 public beta. It should only take a few minutes before the "Install Now" button appears.
As mentioned at the outset, the official release date of iPadOS 18 is some time in the fall, perhaps alongside the launch of iPhone 16.
