WEST COVINA — “Zatoichi Meets Yojimbo” (1970) will be screened on Sunday, Sept. 29, at 1 p.m. at Sugimoto Family Social Hall, East San Gabriel Valley Japanese Community Center, 1203 W. Puente Ave., West Covina.
Of the 26 films (1962-1989) in the Zatoichi series starring Shintaro Katsu as the blind swordsman, this is one of the most well-known and features a great performance from the legendary Toshir? Mifune as Yojimbo.
