Bicyclists of all ages, including many families, enjoyed car-free streets as CicLAvia-Heart of L.A. celebrated its fifth anniversary on Oct. 5 with a six-mile route that included Little Tokyo, Civic Center, Chinatown, the Arts District, Historic Core and MacArthur Park.
The “Go Little Tokyo Zone” in front of the Japanese American National Museum featured performances by the Los Angeles Taiko Institute, origami lessons, a raffle, a bike valet station provided by the L.A. County Bike Coalition, and information on Little Tokyo.
