The event featured live music by the band Kokoro, who dressed for the occasion.
Akimi Watanabe gave a lesson on how to dance like the zombies in Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” music video.
Attendees came as, among other characters, cowboys, hippies, zombies, pirates, witches, and flappers from the 1920s. The event included a costume contest, food and drawings for prizes.
