Luckin Coffee issued a statement a year ago emphasizing it has not yet entered the Thai market, adding that counterfeit stores have caused “serious damage” to its brand. Singapore is Luckin’s first destination outside of China, with the company running 18 offline outlets since opening its first store there this March.
