RuPaul won his 11th Emmy on ????? ?????? ??? ?????Sunday, making him the most awarded Black artist in the award show's history.
RuPaul's Drag Racetook home the Emmy for Outstanding Competition Series. As executive producer, RuPaul delivered the acceptance speech.
"Thanks to all of our lovely children on our show, from around the world," he said. "They are so gracious to tell their stories of courage and how to navigate this difficult life, even more difficult today. This is for you."
RuPaul has multiple awards for producing and hosting Drag Race, including two more from the 2021 Creative Arts Emmys. Drag Racehas been recreated around the world and was recently renewed for a 14th season in the U.S.
