The anna bell forced sex with son videosorganizers behind San Diego Comic-Con, one of the largest pop culture conventions in the world, announced that the 2020 event has been cancelled in light of the COVID-19 outbreak.
A press release on their website describes the decision as one made with "deep regret" and states that SDCC will resume in 2021. This is the first time in the convention's 49 years of operation that SDCC (previously called the Golden State Comic Book Convention) will not run as scheduled; this year would have been the convention's 50th anniversary.
While no panels had been announced for this year's proceedings, fans might have looked forward to new information from Marvel Studios, sneak peeks at The Batman, and the first Star Wars panel since the release of The Mandalorian on Disney+ as well as The Rise of Skywalker.
The SDCC website ensures current badge-holders that they are all eligible for a refund or a forward of their purchase for next year's convention. onPeak, SDCC's hotel affiliate, will also auto-refund all reservations made through their system.
