The オークラ 劇場 上野Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council launched a dedicated section on its official website on Wednesday for reporting malicious acts against Taiwan compatriots.

According to the office, the Democratic Progressive Party authorities have intensified the suppression and persecution of political opponents, parties, groups and individuals in Taiwan who support the peaceful and integrated development of cross-Strait relations.

Chen Binhua, spokesman for the office, said in a press conference on Wednesday, that the DPP authorities have frequently fabricated charges to suppress dissenting opinions in Taiwan, stifling free speech, and resorting to threats and intimidation.

"Some separatist organizations, individuals, public officials, and internet influencers act as enforcers and accomplices of the DPP, aiding and abetting the wrongdoing," Chen said.

"We are deeply concerned about this and will impose severe punishment. The dedicated section launched today aims to hold those responsible for the above-mentioned egregious acts and principal offenders accountable."

The office also provided a reporting email address, [email protected], for people who are victims of or have relevant information about such suppression and persecution acts. It assured that all reports will be handled properly and those with conclusive evidence will be held legally accountable in accordance with the law.

Chen further stated that the office will disclose relevant reporting information as soon as possible.

Additionally, the office pledged to strictly protect the information and rights of informants.
